Deleting a customer or subcontractor from your account

With Okappy, you can easily connect to your customers or suppliers then send, receive and update your jobs and ensure everyone is aware of their progress in real time as the job is done.

However, if you are no longer using a customer or supplier, and want to delete the connection from your account, this can also be done easily from your connections page.

Read on to find out how.

Delete a customer or subcontractor

To delete a customer or supplier connection, simply log into your Okappy dashboard, click on the connections icon on the top right of the screen ( Orange icon showing users ) and then select View customers or View subcontractors.

You will see a list of all your customer or subcontractors. You can filter them to find the relevant connection.

Once you have found the connection you want to delete,

  • Click the three dots icon ( Three dots icon )
  • Select Delete connection

You will see an alert advising that the connection is being deleted.

If you deleted the connection by mistake, press Click to undo to restore the connection.

If you realise you need to add the connection back at a later date, simply

  • add a new connection,
  • enter their email address, and
  • press Connect

Once delete your connection, they will no longer be able to add or update your jobs or send and receive invoices.

Note: If you are connected to a company who is both a customer and subcontractor, then you can delete them from one of the screens only so they remain as a customer or subcontractor.  If you want to delete them as both a customer and a subcontractor, you will need to delete them from both screens.
