GPS Tracking from the Okappy Mobile App
With Okappy, your engineers can send their locations from the Okappy app without needing any additional GPS devices.

How do you tell when the app is trying to transmit its location?
The colour of the Okappy icon denotes the status of location tracking.
If the Okappy icon is orange, the app is trying to send its location.
When the Okappy icon is grey, the app is not trying to send its location.
Turning tracking on or off
To turn tracking on or off, simply press the Okappy icon towards the top left of the screen and select Start sending locations if locations are currently not being sent. Or Stop sending locations if they are being sent.
Turn tracking on or off by default
To turn tracking on by default, click the Okappy icon
- Select More,
- Tracking settings
- Click Always track
To turn tracking off by default, follow the steps above and uncheck the Always track checkbox.
